A biome is a series of land sharing the same climate. This was a new feature added to Total Miner in the 1.8 update. There are three biomes: Semi Alpine, Desert, and Grasslands. Players may also select the Multi Biome option on the beta version for PC.

The desert biome does not appear in default map seeds in Dig Deep.
