Platinum is a somewhat expensive block that is rather rare. It is found deep underground in Dig Deep, Creative, and Survival Maps.
It shows up on the mini-map as a gray/light gray block. The block is a shiny metallic gray, with darker outer edges. Typically found in large veins on Dig Deep maps.
Description[]
In-game description: "Platinum's name is derived from the Spanish term platina del Pinto, which is literally translated into 'little silver of the Pinto River.' It is a dense, malleable, ductile, precious, gray-white and extremely rare transition metal. Platinum is one of the rarest elements in the Earth's crust."
Uses[]
Currently, this block has no real purpose in-game other than use in the creation of a Platinum Sword. A good majority of players tend to sell it when they mine several veins of the block. Most players prefer to use it simply for 'Aesthetic Value' in their builds. Outside of that, it is quite useless.

How to Obtain[]
- Platinum is typically found starting in the Serpentine layer (about 1785 depth on Dig Deep), and as deep as the bottom of the world.
- It can be bought from a Block Shop ( Ore Tab) for 2400 and can be sold for 2000.
